When it comes to Value Wood Blinds Hunter Douglas and YourBlinds have hit a sweet spot.
Most people seeking a Value Wood blind focus on price alone and are
willing to deal with compromise. Good news! Compromise
is not necessary with Hunter Douglas and YourBlinds. Both give
you all kinds of options to upgrade and make your life easier, yet
stay within your budget - what we all want!
Motorized Tilt - You may say I'm biased, but I say the
product folks were brilliant when they decided to add a motorized
tilt option to the value wood series. YourBlinds is the only
one to not make you pay a fortune for a base wood blind in order to
get motorized tilt. I love it for
controlling blinds in hard to reach windows over tubs, kitchen counters
and way up high, not to mention media rooms where everything must be
motorized! What a rugged, durable option. I love the smoothness of
how it rotates the slats!
Cordless -
Hunter Douglas offers a slightly different twist on their value
wood blinds - cordless. Priced just below the motorized tilt option of YourBlinds
Value Woods, Hunter
Douglas made cordless affordable at a value price point. I love
their cordless option for eliminating dangling cords, leaving a
clean, uncluttered look. It really does lift with the touch of
a finger no matter the size of the blind.
Child Safety -
Whether cordless or motorized
tilt, both Hunter Douglas and YourBlinds have made child safety
affordable. I've always thought it was a shame when child
safety upgrade options were reserved for higher price points.
Young families who needed it, could not afford it. Not so any
more. These
two brands recognized the need and took action. They have my vote
for child safety!
