As CEO, I know our wood blinds well. I recommend these wood blinds because:

Motorized Tilt - I love motorized tilt for controlling blinds in hard to reach windows over tubs, kitchen counters and way up high, not to mention media rooms where everything must be motorized!  I think motorized tilt on Hunter Douglas brand is made with great quality and wears well (our Customer Service folks have very few problems)

Cordless - I absolutely love the cordless option from Hunter Douglas.  Most people think of cordless primarily for child safety - and it is great for that - but for those of you without kiddos, I love that it eliminates dangling cords, leaving a clean, uncluttered look whether my blinds are up or down.  Better yet, it really does lift with the touch of a finger no matter the size of the blind!

Routless - I like all the brands equally for their routless option that reduces glare on monitors and TV screens as well as enhancing privacy.  Hunter Douglas is the only one I have reservations with for this feature.  It has nothing to do with the quality of the product.  Rather, they lace the slats in place on both the top and bottom so they stay in place.  Most brands just allow the slat to rest on the ladder without a string to hold each slat in on the top.  On narrower blinds, I have seen this cause the spacing between slats to be uneven.  If your blinds are wider than 40"-45" you will be fine, but if narrower, just be aware that this could be an issue that will need to be resolved to your satisfaction.
