Composite faux wood blinds are made of a mixture of wood pulp and extruded PVC while PVC faux wood slats are made of just PVC. Composite faux wood is slightly more expensive than PVC, but will last longer due to the lighter weight of the composite faux wood blind with normal wear and tear. Composite faux wood slats also require fewer ladders than PVC faux slats to support them because they are stiffer that PVC faux slats.
