As CEO, I know our faux wood blinds well. I recommend these faux wood blinds because:
Cordless - I really like Hunter Douglas for their focus on safety as well as clean lines with their cordless lift on a premium faux wood blind. No one else has taken this step to make child safety affordable for young families. What's more, the cordless lift operates very smoothly, truly, with just the touch of a finger.Routless - I like all the brands equally for their routless option that reduces glare on monitors and TV screens as well as enhancing privacy. Hunter Douglas is the only one I have reservations with for this feature. It has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Rather, they lace the slats in place on both the top and bottom so they stay in place. Most brands just allow the slat to rest on the ladder without a string to hold each slat in on the top. On narrower blinds, I have seen this cause the spacing between slats to be uneven. If your blinds are wider than 40"-45" you will be fine, but if narrower, just be aware that this could be an issue that will need to be resolved to your satisfaction.
Motorized tilt - I love the smoothness of both the YourBlinds and Hunter Douglas brands when it comes to controlling blinds in hard to reach windows over tubs, kitchen counters and way up high, not to mention media rooms where everything must be motorized! Comfortex motorized I have a few reservations with based upon issues our Customer Care folks have had to deal with.
Overall, I love the Hunter Douglas Everwood for its abundance of features at a good price point. I also love the YourBlinds brand for its value with most all of the features available in the Everwood. Both are good quality products.
