Ordering Tips

• Hunter Douglas Somner verticals come standard with a beautifully contoured headrail which means you do not need a valance unless you want one. 
• If you prefer the look of a valance we have 2 options:
  • Dust cover valance with square corners made of same material as vanes (additional charge)

  • Eccenture valance adds an upscale look to the blind (additional charge)

• Plastic groover inserts are available for fabric vertical vanes.  Groovers wrap around the sides and back of the fabric vane adding increased durability, protection for the fabric and additional privacy for light filtering fabrics.  View Groover

• Blind may be configured for split or side draw

• If ordering inside mount - be aware that the valance will not come with returns unless you request them
• Replacement Vanes: When ordering Replacement Vanes, order the length of your existing vane. To obtain pricing, use 3" for the "Width" and total finished length for the "Length".  Note: We cannot guarantee fit due to the changing nature of fabricator specifications over the years you have had your existing vertical blind; vanes may NOT be returned for any reason. Minimum order for replacement vanes is Qty 10.

• Factory deduction - When you order your blinds, DO NOT take any deductions.  The factory will deduct:
  • Inside mount:
    • Headrail deduction:  -1/4" from ordered width
    • Vane length deduction:  - 2" from ordered height of blind to accommodate the height of the headrail
  • Outside mount:
    • Headrail deduction:  NO deduction from ordered width
    • Vane length deduction:  - 1 1/2" from ordered height of blind to accommodate the height of the headrail

Vertical blinds are well suited for windows that are wider than they are tall and slide from side to side. Our offering includes blinds made from fabric and vinyl.

Save yourself some money - If your width and length are 95 7/8" or smaller, you will get free shipping. If larger, we will have to ship freight line which will cost more.

Ideal for French doors, patio doors and bay windows, these vertical blinds are available with a contoured headrail on the Paramount headrail that reduces light gaps and provides a tight, symmetric fit for a smooth and quiet performance.
