By creating a physical barrier inside the cells, Energy Shield™ prevents air from passing through the fabric of your shades and altering the climate of your home.

In warmer months, Energy Shield™:

Both will let the warmth of the sun help heat your home, while the Energy Shield™ works as a barrier to keep internal air from escaping through windows.
North & South Central Climate	up to $110.00	If you live in a temperate climate where you need help reducing heating and cooling cost, a Day/Night Transformation shade is the perfect solution. Transformations combines two fabrics to maximize your energy efficiency. The standard Accordia Light Filtering fabric helps capture sunlight while blocking cold air to help heat your home. On hot, sunny days, the Accordia Room Darkening fabric controls light and blocks out the heat, keeping your home cooler.
Southern Climate	up to $180.00	If you are concerned about cooling costs because you live in a warm, sunny area, choose an Accordia Room Darkening product. This fabric helps block the sun from heating your room.
