Ordering Tips

• Vertiglide has the narrowest stack of all vertical alternatives!
  A clean, contemporary, minimal look
  Fabric Stacking:  6" (stack determined by hardware, not ordered width)
• Two valance styles to chose from :
  
  Grandover Valance (Alternative Wood measuring 3 1/4" high)
  Available in only Sugar Pine 973
  
  
  Sydney Valance (Aluminum measuring 1 7/8" high)
  Available in only Aspen White 785
  
  
• Hardware is available in Aspen White 785 only
• Shade pull handle will be mounted 40" to 50" from bottom of moving rail
• Three stack orientations are available:
  • Side stack - all the fabric stacks completely to right or left of opening for sliding glass doors
  • Split stack - both panels of equal width, stack to both the left and the right of the opening, equally - great for sets of French doors where you want to set them off with an accent
  • Center Stack - all the fabric stacks in the middle of the opening - great for openings with a pair of sliding glass doors on either side of a narrow piece of wall that separates the 2 doors; order center stack for a clean look with one headrail/valance.
• For shipping (when wider than 96" - to avoid an oversize freight surcharge) the valance will be spliced at a 45 degree angle in the center.
• Factory Deductions:
  When you order, do not take any deductions.  The factory will deduct:
  • Inside mount: 
    • Width:  - 3/16" from headrail from ordered width
    • Valance:
      • + 1 1/4" added to ordered width for non-flush application
      • - 3/16" from ordered width for flush applications
    • Height:  - 1/2" from ordered height
  • Outside mount:  + 1/4" to headrail to ordered width; - 1 1/4" deduction from fabric width from ordered width; no deduction from ordered height
    • Width:  no deduction from ordered width
    • Valance:  + 1 1/4" added to ordered width for non-flush application
    • Height:  no deduction from ordered height
• Valance standard return lengths (as measured on the flat back side of the valance next to the headrail)
  • 3/4" Pleat fabrics:
    • Sydney valance:  3 1/8"
    • Grandover valance:  2 5/8"
• FREE Spacer blocks are available if your situation necessitates mounting around obstacles like trim.  Please be aware that for each 1/2" spacer block, 1/2" will be added to the length of the valance returns.  If you request extension brackets, 2" will be added unless you tell us otherwise.
• If ordering inside mount please be aware that the valance will not come with returns unless you request them

  • To order, simply order 2 separate VertiGlides, each one in the full opening size.  In the "Special Remarks" section, let us know that you want the 2 shades (on Line X and Line Y of your order) to go together in the same shade for a Duolite VertiGlide.  Please specify which side you want each fabric to be located on (ex: sheer portion on right side, opaque portion on left side)
  • NOTE: Allow 6" of width on each side for fabric stack regardless of opening width.  The track carrier mechanism requires 6" of clearance.
