How Do I Know How Many Cells I Need?
Cellular shades come in single, double and triple cell thicknesses. The number of cells refers to the number of layers of cellular fabric that have been combined. Double cell refers to 2 layers of typically 3/8" material joined together while triple cell refers to 3 layers of material.
In general, the more layers of fabric, the greater the insulating ability of the shade to protect against the heat of summer or the cold of winter... reducing your heating and cooling costs.
