Chalet woods are nicer than my higher end blinds
which are now pealing. They are easy to order,
easy to install and look fantastic! The delight feature is wonderful.

I expected better quality from Hunter Douglas. The construction of the DE-Light feature is not very stylish - the cords are not taut and look out of place. I already had one plug (on the bottom of the blinds) that holds the cords fall out on me. After hanging the blinds, I also noticed that there were indentations in the wood slats from where the cords were (maybe wrapped too tightly during shipping?). I would not recommend this product if you are looking for the best quality of window coverings.
I did order the Lite-Rise feature from Hunter Douglas - I would definitely recommend that feature for anyone with children.

These blinds are a bargain for a high quality brand name. After much research, I found that Hunter Douglas is one of the top brands in window coverings, and usually you pay for the name. But their Chalet Woods are available for a faux wood price and they are very stylish and practical. Many colors and stains to choose from, made well, affordable and easy to install. Can't ask for much more in a quality wood blind.
The blinds arrived in about 10 days in perfect order and carefully wrapped to avoid damage during shipping. The package included all the parts required for installation, without any additional confusing/spare parts, which often only confuse the customer. My husband installed the blinds by himself using the instructions included and had absolutely no problem with it.
I was very pleased with the entire process from order entry to the delivery at our door. Our blinds arrived much sooner that the 3 weeks we initially thought. Our Blinds were well packaged and there was no damage during shipment. We did have a few issues (missing clips & discolored valance) but they were corrected- resolved and new parts were delivered within 5 business days. We have also had many compliments about the beauty of our Hunter Douglas Wood Blinds from friends, family and neighbors.
The delivery speed was good and I liked the fact that I received regular emails on the progress of the order. When the blinds arrived, the packaging was good so the blinds were in perfect condition, and the installation instructions were very helpful. I also thought the quality of the product was much higher than I expected and visitors to my apartment have often commented on the blinds positively.
