I have a wide window (105 inches), so I ordered two of these shades. I added the blackout liners, because I wanted my room to be dark at night, and I am hoping that it would keep the heat out during the summer. The shades do a great job keeping the light out. It was a big investment, but this room is my living room/bedroom/kitchen, so I wanted to make sure that I really like the shades. Finding the perfect solution for my window was the biggest challenge for me in my new apartment. My initial contact with Yourblinds was via chat, and the representative (Beth) was very kind, helpful and professional, and she answered all my questions. The 10 free samples made it easier to pick the right shade. I taped them on the wall and left them there for a few days to see how they match the furniture and the wall. I e-mailed Beth when I was ready to place my order, and she called me back immediately. [...] I could have probably installed them by myself, but I have a friend who is a handyman, and he did it in about 45 minutes, without reading the instructions. The shades give a polished, yet "cool" and natural look to my room. It's a joy just to look at them. I have high expectations if it comes to customer service, and I rarely give feedback. The fact that I am now taking the time to write positive things about this company should show how satisfied I am with their product and service.:)
