Cherry wood color is not like the sample

The blind is well made. Unfortunately the cherry color looks like the color of beets - too much pinky red and not at all like the sample which is more of a classic cherry wood color. The valence is the right color, but not the slats. I will be replacing these as soon as I can afford to. I hate the color. My room is full of cherry furniture and this really clashes.
