I first purchased these for a bedroom because of the room darkening feature. It does not block out all the light, i had to add a blackout roller blind behind it. But with that said, the blind is so gorgeous! And i love that I can have them opened & still have a bit of privacy because of the sheer fabric between the vanes, yet see through the window. I installed them myself, that was really easy - and motorized is the way to go!!!

I first bought these blinds a few years ago for my kids bedroom windows. I love them! They look GORGEOUS, I now bought them for another room in my house. However, if room darkening is a concern, these blinds do not offer total blackout (as I learned after my first purchase) consider ordering them with extension brackets & plan to install blackout roller blinds behind these. With that said, I wouldn't trade these for any other blind. The fact that the vanes are so adjustable & give such a clean look that works with almost any decor is a huge plus. All my blinds are motorized, LOVE THAT!... just wish it were a true blackout... that would be the Perfect Blind.
