We have used this type of blinds numerous times in the past and they came with an easy to use continuous cord. The two we just purchased have a very poor cord design and it takes a lot of effort and a lot of time to to raise or lower the blinds. What takes 3 pulls on our previously purchased blinds takes about 10-15 pulls on these as each pull only raises the blinds a couple of inches. I would NOT recommend these to anyone - but only for this reason. Everything else is as expected.

I used these in two bedrooms that have many windows. The afford some privacy, yet you can see the outside when pulled down. Since we live in the country privacy is not a number one issue. I just wanted to filter out light, and these do an A #1 job of doing that.
