We just moved into a new house. I love the views from every window and do not want them blocked, but would feel better with some privacy at night. They also moderate the temperature on the south and west windows without making it too dark during the day.

I can't stop coming back for more!

I finally got these installed throughout the house and they provide good light with amazing privacy. You can not see through them from the outside no matter how hard you might try. I have one with a string in the kitchen and all of the rest are top down/ bottom up LiteRise. The one with the string opener operates flawlessly while the top down/ bottom up retraction mechanism seems a bit flimsy. There were two non-working units that had to be fixed, but now they raise and lower fine. [...] I like the ability to just pull down the top of the shade for more light, but still providing privacy. Install is easy if you read the directions and are a little forceful with pushing the head rail into the metal clips. I had these in a high-end loft apartment and now enjoy them in my new home.
